Monthly Round Up: December
Let’s chat about December…
December was…. stressful for me. My mom was scheduled for her full knee surgery and then got rescheduled to 10 days earlier — so it was a mad dash scramble. A lot of time was spent around supporting my mental health and even more time caregiving. I had to remind myself and my mom that this wasn’t forever. And I was totally right! Surgery happened and it went so well. There were some complications unrelated to surgery and things kept popping up to make things more difficult. All in all, December was a good practice to remember that we all have seasons and they don’t last forever.
Personal Highlights
I celebrated my 33rd birthday! (And I’m so happy to experience the privilege of being older.)
Got an aerogarden and a teapot and drooled over seeds from seed catalogues. Exercised some discipline and bought a few new “weird” seeds: banana melon, ground cherries, and orange currant tomatoes.
Chatted with friends — new and old.
Binged watched some good feel good shows: Baking it and Making it season 3.
Made my own sourdough starter and made my first sourdough boule.
Reading some cool books: Wintering, Italian Folk Magic and Keep Going. Finished reading Show Your Work.
Business Highlights
The biz was more on the back burner as I focused on my personal life. However, it was still a busier month than I thought and did a lot of things behind the scenes.
Hosted a free Rising Session Secret Circle Open House. I am always in awe of the power of community and it was an amazing session. Excited for our new sisterhood that starts on the 12th.
December’s Community Energy Thursday was SO GOOD! It was basically like a private 1x1 session with me where we focused on releasing limiting beliefs that are holding you back.
My favorite content that I created this month:
A simple kitchen witch spell that I do…. nearly every day
These memes are very close to my heart. Thank you, spirit team!
My most shared instagram post to date — all about the winter season and being anti-new years resolutions.
All in all, I’m celebrating:
Surviving.
My mom and her health! And my health and my knees. So grateful for my knees.
Another beautiful year of my life. And how far I’ve come.
Let’s check on the goals I accomplished:
✅Prep house/meals/emotions for my mom’s surgery at end of Dec. I mean… mostly. It was done enough.
✅Celebrate my birthday!!
❌ Celebrate winter solstice. Mom’s surgery ended up being on the 21st and then time got away from me. Maybe I’ll do it sometime in January.
✅Spread word for Secret Circle Sisterhood Circle FREE OPEN HOUSE and membership registration.
❌Experiment more with tiktok and make videos that are more informational and thought out. Big negative here lol.
✅Write up thoughts about Rewired & Limitless: Burnout Edition.
✅ Organize Setting Course Goal Setting workshop for Jan/Feb. 2020’s was so much fun and this year I want to do it bigger and better. I’ve got big plans! Including a notion template, a mid-year check-in call, and more!
Onward to January’s Goals:
Personal:
Deep, deeeeeeeep self-care and self-love, including sleeping more and earlier, consistent movement practice, lots of nervous system support herbs (like chamomile and oats), and getting outside
Move my desk to set myself up right for 2022.
Catch up on MTV’s The Challenge All Stars
Finish my 2021 reflection and do my own 2022 visioning
Try some new gluten free bread from this new cookbook I checked out at the library: Cannelle Et Vanille Bakes Simple: A New Way to Bake Gluten-Free
Work:
Share new Life Health Bar’s Notion template that helps folks get a bird’s eye view of different areas of their life. It’s a powerful tool, based off of the wheel of life, and shows you what’s working and what’s not and allows you to create action steps to improve. (PS this is already done… you can check it out HERE. )
Host Setting Course Workshop on Jan 30th. Learn more HERE.
Future visioning for Rising Session Secret Circle with MysticRose.Co. Be excited for the things to come!!
Continue working on back end of the Membership — coming to you in March!
